What is CauseCrazy?
CauseCrazy is an all-in-one growth partner built exclusively for nonprofits — grants, fundraising campaigns, marketing, finance, and fractional leadership, coordinated as one system we call the Flight Plan℠.
Who does CauseCrazy work with?
Only nonprofits. We don't split our attention with corporate clients — every service is built for mission-driven organizations.
CauseCrazy is new — why should we trust you?
The company is new; the team isn't. Our people have spent 23 years helping 8,000+ businesses generate more than $1 billion in revenue. New focus, proven team.
What services do you offer?
Seven: Talon (grants), Flockraiser (contest fundraising), Odyssey (experiential giving), Thermal (marketing), Wingman (fractional leadership), Fledge (foundations & branding), and Keel (finance & compliance). Buy any on its own or bundle them as you grow.
How does pricing work?
Most services are flat, published fees — no hourly surprises. Grants are always flat-fee. Contest and experiential campaigns use a prize-competition model where platform, production, and prize costs plus a lean share come out of the funds raised — with a flat-fee alternative if you'd rather keep 100%.
Do you take a percentage of our grant awards?
Never. Grant work is always a flat fee, published up front. Contingency (percentage-of-award) pricing violates professional fundraising ethics and most funders' rules.
Do you take a cut of contest or experiential donations?
In the revenue-share model, yes — that's how prize competitions work. We front the build, platform, prizes, and marketing at no cost to you, then recover costs plus a lean share from the proceeds, every line itemized for your board. Prefer a flat fee and keep 100%? That option is always available.
Is there a minimum contract?
Engagements carry a 12-month minimum term, and the full annual service fee for the initial term is owed even if it's paid in monthly installments.
Can a nonprofit really raise money with an online contest?
Yes — the model is proven at scale (platforms like Colossal grant tens of millions a year). Hundreds of supporters give a little and recruit their own networks. We handle the concept, microsite, compliance, and daily management end to end.
Are contests and sweepstakes legal for nonprofits?
Yes, when structured correctly. We front the compliance: a registered 501(c)(3) fiscal-partner structure, free-entry options where required, and state-by-state registrations.
What's included in marketing?
Website, Google Ad Grants management, paid media, email, social, and SEO/AEO — delivered on a monthly subscription with board-ready reporting.
Do you replace our CPA or attorney?
No. Our finance and compliance work supports your filings; it does not replace a CPA's or attorney's sign-off where one is legally required.
