Turn your supporters into a crowd —
and your crowd into a movement.
Galas are expensive, walks are tiring, and email plateaus. An online competition gives thousands of people a fun reason to give a little — and to bring their friends. We design and run it end-to-end.
Contest & Sweepstakes Fundraising for Nonprofits

Flip the fundraising math.
Traditional fundraising leans on a few donors giving a lot — fragile the moment one pauses. A contest flips it: hundreds give a little, each one feels part of the outcome, and every voter has a reason to share. Platforms like Colossal grant tens of millions a year this way.
A competition built around your cause
We design the concept — Favorite Coach, Cutest Pet, Local Hero — and build the microsite, voting and donation mechanics, and the compliance back-end. Anchored to your mission, not bolted on.
- Custom competition concept
- Dedicated campaign microsite
- Voting, donations & leaderboards
- Shareable contestant pages
In the build
- Concept & rules tailored to your community
- Branded microsite & donor flow

We run the daily rhythm so you don't have to
Contestant recruitment and coaching, scripted email/SMS/social, paid acquisition for the final stretch, and a real-time dashboard you can show your board Monday morning.

The legal part, handled

New focus. Proven team.
CauseCrazy is new — but the marketers behind it have spent 23 years helping 8,000+ businesses generate more than $1 billion in revenue. The same discipline that grows a business is what grows a cause.
Storytelling that makes people share
Two decades of making audiences care and act — the engine of any viral campaign.
Data-driven participation
The same testing that grew 8,000 businesses tells us what makes a crowd give.
We know what makes people act
Persuading a donor and persuading a customer use the same muscles.
“We're new to running these as CauseCrazy — but making people care and act is exactly what we've done for 8,000 businesses. Now we point it at your cause.”
A real client quote will live here — we'd rather leave it blank than invent one. Early clients: this space is yours.
Why CauseCrazy
Nothing out of pocket
We front the build, platform, prizes, and marketing — recovered from the funds raised.
Done-for-you
A big-platform competition, run lean so the most reaches your cause.
Compliance fronted
Fiscal partner and registrations handled and board-auditable.
Built only for nonprofits
We speak board, budget, and mission.
Radically transparent economics.
Prize competitions fund themselves: our costs and a lean share come out of what's raised — every line itemized for your board — and your cause keeps the majority. Prefer to fund it yourself and keep 100%? Choose the flat-fee build instead.
Pricing
Every dollar raised through a Flockraiser competition works hard. We run each campaign as lean as possible so more of what you give reaches the cause — and so we can keep offering some of the lowest fundraising fees available to the charities we serve. Our fee is modest and covers what it takes to run a winning campaign: staffing, marketing, technology, and prizes. Donations are collected by Chrty.org, our 501(c)(3) fiscal partner, which then grants the funds — less fees and campaign costs — to the designated charity.

Is this a raffle — is it even legal for us?
Contests and sweepstakes are legal nationwide when structured correctly. We front the compliance: a registered 501(c)(3) fiscal-partner structure, free-entry options where required, and state registrations. Your board gets a clean, auditable trail.
Do you take a percentage of what we raise?
In the revenue-share model, yes — that's how prize competitions work. We front the build, platform, prizes, and marketing at no cost to you, then recover costs plus a lean share from the proceeds, every line itemized for your board. We run it as efficiently as possible so the majority reaches your mission. Prefer a flat fee and keep 100%? That option is always on the table.
How much can a contest raise?
It depends on your community and story, but the model is proven at scale (tens of millions a year across the category). On a concept call we'll give you realistic ranges from comparable nonprofits.
Do we need a big email list?
No. Contests grow by contestants recruiting their own networks — you need a story worth voting for and a willingness to let supporters carry it further than you can alone.
Let's build a campaign your community can't stop sharing.
Schedule a 45-minute concept call. We'll bring three competition formats tailored to your cause, sample budgets, and realistic revenue ranges — whether or not we work together.
